Job Title: Medical Content Writer – Scientific Communications

About Sanofi:

Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) is an internal resource organization supporting Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, R&D, and Data & Digital functions. SBO aims to be a strategic and functional partner for Medical, HEVA, and Commercial teams globally, ensuring efficient tactical delivery and process excellence.

Main Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Development:

• Develop specialized scientific content with limited supervision.

• Manage the end-to-end publication/medical education content development process.

• Create slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and more.

• Upload and manage content using PromoMats/iEnvision (formerly Datavision/MATRIX).

• Maintain up-to-date therapeutic area expertise.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Build strong relationships with the medical and scientific community.

• Collaborate with HCPs, MSLs, product managers, and medical teams to gather insights and requirements.

• Assist peers and junior writers by sharing domain knowledge and expertise.

• Work with external vendors to ensure quality deliverables.

Strategic and Process Support:

• Conduct publication needs analysis and assist in strategic planning.

• Support the implementation of publication and medical education plans.

• Use end-user feedback to enhance content effectiveness and relevance.

• Develop subject matter expertise and align with regulatory and scientific standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a Medical Degree

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in pharmaceutical/healthcare content development or academic writing

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong therapeutic area/domain knowledge

  • Familiarity with publication submission platforms

  • Understanding of medical communication standards

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management

  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Language: Excellent command of written and spoken English
