Job Overview:
The SEO Content Manager will play a key role in assisting the Head of SEO in optimizing content for search engine performance and user engagement. This position involves creating and managing SEO-driven content strategies, conducting in-depth SERP and competitor analyses, and ensuring all content aligns with the latest NLP (Natural Language Processing) and semantic SEO practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SEO, content creation, and data-driven content optimization.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Strategy Development:

    • Create and implement SEO-friendly content strategies to improve organic visibility and rankings.
    • Align content strategies with keyword research, search intent, and business goals.
  2. SERP and Competitor Analysis:

    • Perform detailed competitor content analysis to identify gaps and opportunities.
    • Monitor SERP trends to spot high-impact opportunities for ranking improvements.
  3. Content Creation and Optimization:

    • Develop, edit, and optimize content with a focus on NLP-friendly structures and semantic relevance.
    • Ensure all content follows the latest SEO guidelines and best practices.
  4. Semantic SEO and NLP Expertise:

    • Incorporate semantic analysis into content creation to improve search relevance and efficacy.
    • Use advanced keyword research to align content with user intent and improve SERP performance.
  5. Performance Tracking and Reporting:

    • Track content performance metrics (e.g., traffic, CTR, rankings, conversions) and provide actionable insights.
    • Present data-driven reports to the Head of SEO to assess the impact of content strategies.
  6. Collaboration:

    • Work closely with writers, editors, and digital marketing teams to ensure cohesive content strategies.
    • Provide clear guidelines and briefs to content creators for SEO-aligned writing.

Key Requirements:

  • SEO Knowledge: In-depth understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles.
  • Content Expertise: Proven experience in creating and managing high-performing SEO content.
  • Semantic SEO and NLP: Strong knowledge of semantic SEO, NLP, and how search engines interpret content.
  • Competitor and SERP Analysis: Ability to analyze competitor content and identify key opportunities from SERP data.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or other SEO analysis platforms.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to provide meaningful insights and briefs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced SEO or digital marketing environment.
  • Knowledge of composition markup and structured data for content optimization.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content generation and analysis.
