Job Overview and Responsibilities

The Associate Analyst will support data analysis initiatives related to customer strategies, revenue growth, cost-saving opportunities, and offer development. This role requires an active knowledge of analytical concepts and tools, focusing on data-driven insights to optimize business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decision Support:

  • Aid in decision-making by performing ad-hoc analysis and scenario analysis.
  • Support the creation of strategies based on data insights.

• Data Collection and Organization:

  • Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources using SQL/Python/R.

• Reporting and Dashboards:

  • Create, modify, and automate reports and dashboards.
  • Take ownership of structure and metrics, and communicate key insights to leadership using data visualization tools like TIBCO Spotfire.

• Collaboration and Presentations:

  • Work with internal teams, including Enterprise Data Science, Data Engineering, and IT, as necessary.
  • Design and present reports and findings to internal and external stakeholders.

• Statistical Analysis:

  • Perform statistical analysis on customer engagement, loyalty programs, and marketing campaigns.
  • Build descriptive and predictive models using tools such as SQL, R, Python, and SAS.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

• Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases like Teradata SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle SQL Developer.
  • Attention to detail, thoroughness, and a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects.

• Language:

  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

• Work Eligibility:

  • Legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • 0-1 years of experience in data analysis.

• Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with one or more programming languages: Python, R, SAS, SQL.
  • Experience with reporting tools like Tableau, Oracle OBIEE, Brio, or TIBCO Spotfire.
