Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist. You will lead and support business analysis, solution design, and change implementation initiatives that deliver impactful transformation across HSBC’s Credit Lending and Risk domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders by delivering value-added consulting and data-driven insights.

• Plan stakeholder engagement to ensure successful project implementation and benefit realization.

• Act as a subject matter expert across multiple projects or programs, guiding design, requirements, and change strategies.

• Define and recommend innovative, risk-weighted solutions.

• Coordinate end-to-end requirements gathering, documentation, prioritization, and traceability with multiple teams.

• Shape business requirements into delivery-ready solutions encompassing customer, people, process, technology, and data aspects.

• Evaluate current operating models and help design future-state operating models aligned with strategic goals.

• Lead change implementation, providing steering, guidance, and status reporting to stakeholders.

• Identify and mitigate delivery risks, manage change control, and maintain project scope and timelines.

• Support and foster a results-driven, customer-focused team culture.

• Proactively identify and address potential negative impacts on business units and end-customers.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

Professional Experience

• Proven experience in business analysis and solution delivery in a banking environment.

• Strong understanding of Credit Lending and preferably, knowledge of Global Risk Management.

• Prior experience handling global projects or programs.

• Demonstrated ability to lead workshops, resolve conflicts, and align stakeholders toward common outcomes.

• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and balancing varied interests.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with Power Apps platform (preferred).

• Ability to translate business needs into solution designs involving systems, data, infrastructure, and processes.

Soft Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills.

• Self-driven with the ability to work independently across regions while maintaining a global perspective.

• Conflict resolution and negotiation skills, with experience in handling scope and budget-related challenges.
