Job Description:

Controllers at Goldman Sachs ensure that the firm meets all financial control and reporting obligations as a global, regulated, and public financial institution. They are responsible for measuring the profitability of and risks associated with every aspect of the firm's business, ensuring compliance with regulations governing financial market transactions.

Our Impact:

As part of the Controllers team, you will manage the firm's liquidity, capital, and risk, while providing comprehensive financial control and reporting functions. Key responsibilities include assessing the creditworthiness of counterparties, monitoring market risks associated with trading activities, and offering analytical and regulatory compliance support.

Business Unit:

The Controllers group safeguards the firm's assets, helping maintain the integrity of Goldman Sachs' finances and expenditures. The group is responsible for ensuring profitability and operational efficiency, while also ensuring compliance with financial and regulatory requirements worldwide. This department interacts with nearly every part of the firm, providing professionals with in-depth exposure to various businesses, products, and sophisticated technology systems.

The Direct Hedge Funds, Hedge Fund Strategies, and Private Equity Group teams within Controllers support alternative investments under the Goldman Sachs Asset Management division.
