Key Responsibilities:

• Core Banking Domain Knowledge:
  Expertise in customer, KYC, trade, payments, loans, deposits, and other core banking areas.

• Risk Management:
  Experience in risk management frameworks, including BASEL, IFRS9, and general risk frameworks.

• Mathematical & Analytical Skills:
  Strong skills in collecting, measuring, organizing, and analyzing data effectively.

• Programming Knowledge:
  Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, and Python.

• Technical Expertise in Data Management:
  Experience in database design, development, data modeling, and techniques for data mining and segmentation.

• Reporting & Analysis Tools:
  Familiarity with reporting packages like Business Objects and experience in programming (e.g., JavaScript, XML, or ETL frameworks).

• Statistical Analysis:
  Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like Excel, SPSS, SAS for data set analysis.

• Data Processing Platforms:
  Experience with platforms like Hadoop, Apache Spark, and other open-source data analytics tools.

• Procedure Documentation:
  Ability to develop and document procedures and workflows for data management processes.

• Data Quality Control & Validation:
  Skilled in data quality control, validation, and linkage processes.

• Data Visualization:
  Ability to create clear, graphical representations and data visualizations for reporting purposes.

• Reporting Environment Management:
  Experience managing and designing the reporting environment, including data sources, security, and metadata.

• Technical Data Expertise:
  Provide technical expertise in data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.

• Data Visualization Tools:
  Familiarity with data visualization software like Qlik and Power BI.

• Problem Solving & Teamwork:
  Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Attention to Detail:
  Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of data analysis.

• Reporting & Presentations:
  Adept at writing queries, generating reports, and making presentations.

• Data Analysis Experience:
  Proven working experience as a data analyst.

Pre-Requisites:

• Education:
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an accredited university or college.

• Work Experience:
  Previous work experience as a data analyst or in a related field.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks and analyze business requirements.

• Software Solution Recommendations:
  Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.

• Translating Business Requirements:
  Skill in translating business requirements into non-technical, lay terms.

• Database Management Methodologies:
  High-level experience in managing large-scale databases and applying relevant methodologies.

• Handling Large Data Sets:
  Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.

• Metadata & Addressing Standards:
  Understanding of addressing and metadata standards in data management.

• Communication Skills:
  Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with various stakeholders.
