About the Role

As a Data Analyst at S&P Global, you will be responsible for supporting the integrity and comprehensiveness of a variety of data sets. The role involves utilizing internal and external research sources like government documents, stock exchanges, analyst reports, and industry journals. You will assist in the collection, analysis, and synthesis of both financial and non-financial data to support key decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for freshers to build essential skills in data analysis and market research. You will work on process improvement projects and enhance your skill set in areas like LEAN and automation. The role offers significant learning opportunities in understanding global market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

• Collate, analyze, and enter financial and non-financial data accurately as per the guidelines.

• Understand workflows and the data set, utilizing work tools effectively.

• Provide feedback and ideas for new data collection methods.

• Meet individual and team targets while ensuring quality and excellence in data handling.

• Troubleshoot problems and support the team in improving workflows and processes.

• Review content transactions and help refine procedures to improve accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Post-Graduate / MBA in Finance (specialization) with a good academic track record (2024 & 2025 batch).

• Skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Knowledge of corporate finance/accountancy, including financial statements and annual reports.

  • Familiarity with secondary research sources.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong analytical, interpretive, and quantitative skills.

  • Ability to conduct efficient thematic online research.

• Availability: Willing to work in a 24*5 environment with rotational shifts (including night shifts).
