Role Overview:

As a Data Analyst (Looker), you will play a crucial role in implementing, improving, and maintaining Looker reports. This involves partnering with business and analytics teams to provide guidance and assistance in streamlining Looker reports and creating actionable data insights.

Responsibilities:

• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide end-to-end solutions.

• Data Translation: Translate business requirements into actionable data tasks using SQL.

• Looker Reports: Use Looker to create metadata repositories (LookML), views, and dashboards.

• Subject Matter Expert: Become a subject matter expert in Looker as both a development platform and a visualization tool.

• Security & Data Access: Maintain security and data access models within Looker.

• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of the Looker instance.

• Best Practices: Implement best practices for LookML coding and data model design.

Qualifications:

• Education: B.Tech in any stream (preferably CS, IT, Electronics)

• Skills Required:

  • Strong technical knowledge in SQL.

  • Expertise in visualization technologies like Looker, Tableau, or other BI tools.

  • Strong business intuition and the ability to understand complex business systems.

Optional Requirement:

• Experience with Spectacle (https://spectacles.dev/).
