Controllership Analyst – AEBC India Branch
Location: Gurugram, Haryana

This is a key position in the Controllership team of American Express Banking Corp. (AEBC), India Branch, a banking entity regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The role reports to a Manager and supports financial reporting and regulatory submissions as per both US GAAP and RBI requirements.
Contact clients with overdue accounts to secure settlements and prevent future delinquencies.
Support month-end closing processes, including preparation of schedules, manual journal entries (OPEX accrual), and monthly financial flash reporting.
Assist in US GAAP audit of AEBC consolidated financial statements, including:
Call report preparation
Balance sheet/income statement analysis
Financial ratio analysis
Prepare and support Quarterly Regulatory Submissions, including FFIEC submissions.
Collaborate across departments to ensure financial data accuracy and audit compliance.
B.Com (Hons) or equivalent
CA Intermediate qualified
Strong foundation in accounting principles (US GAAP/IFRS preferred)
Analytical mindset with a focus on data accuracy and timely reporting
Detail-oriented and well-organized with the ability to manage tight deadlines
Effective communicator with good interpersonal and collaboration skills
