Job Title: Legal Analysts Manager

Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh (Hybrid Work)
Pay: ₹18,00,000 per year

Position Overview:

The Legal Analysts Manager will report directly to the AVP - Legal and Business Services and will be responsible for managing a team of Senior Legal Analysts, Legal Consultants, and Business Analysts focused on contract life-cycle management solutions. This role is a "player/coach" position, where the individual will manage the team while also contributing to project execution and managing their own projects. The primary focus will be on managing the deal ingestion process across various systems (RightsLogic/Rightsline/Alliant) to improve business and ingestion processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client & Team Collaboration:

    • Work closely with clients and internal teams to manage contract understanding and ingestion services across various UIs.
    • Manage a team of Legal and Business Analysts responsible for the understanding and ingestion of contract terms in the system.
    • Ensure individual and team goals are met over time, and ensure daily operations and processes meet standards.
  • Subject Matter Expertise:

    • Act as the subject matter expert for contract understanding and ingestion for media and entertainment clients, particularly in RightsLogic/Rightsline/Alliant systems.
    • Mentor and train team members for legal development and growth.
  • Project Management & Execution:

    • Manage the planning and execution of assigned projects.
    • Work closely with the Delivery Solution Ingestion teams to provide input on their project plans and track the status of plan and testing activities.
    • Assess business needs for contract life-cycle management and coordinate the onboarding, training, execution, and support of ingestion projects.
  • Client Engagement & Requirements Gathering:

    • Identify client requirements and use cases, track and document the execution and delivery of these projects.
    • Manage risks and communicate potential issues or escalations to leadership.
    • Build relationships with business clients and understand their processes to develop technology-driven improvements.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:

    • Engage with internal teams like Engineering, Product, and QA to ensure that client requirements and deliverables are understood and completed on time.
    • Manage the execution of data migration needs, advising clients on data cleansing to optimize the use of Rightsline.
  • Vendor & Integration Management:

    • Engage with third-party technology vendors and integration partners to ensure smooth integrations and implementations based on contractual work orders.
    • Organize and manage client training to promote successful change management during implementation.
    • Conduct process reviews and analyze business and IT processes to provide suggestions for improvements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Required:
    • LLB degree (Law), or equivalent work experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
    • At least 3 years of managerial experience in a legal or business environment.

Skills & Expertise:

  • Contract Ingestion & Translation:

    • Experience in contract translation, contract ingestion, and managing media and entertainment contracts is preferred (but not required).
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a time-sensitive, deadline-driven environment.
    • Ability to assess functional requirements and provide feedback on implementation documents.
  • Communication & Problem Solving:

    • Ability to make sound judgments and resolve issues independently.
    • Clear and effective communication, both written and verbal, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Software Proficiency:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools.
