Job Description

The Security GRC Analyst will be part of the Amex GBT Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and assessing risks, evaluating information security controls, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and analyze risks related to information security, business processes, and regulatory compliance.

• Develop and monitor security and compliance metrics to measure the effectiveness of information security controls.

• Conduct assessments to ensure compliance with internal policies, security frameworks, and regulatory requirements.

• Assist with internal and external audits, including evidence collection, preliminary assessments, and remediation efforts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the organization’s overall security posture and risk mitigation strategies.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Risk Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and regulatory standards like GDPR, PCI DSS.

• Experience in risk assessments and security control evaluations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and reporting abilities, with confidence in presenting findings to diverse stakeholders.
