Role Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our Wholesale Risk Analytics team as a Senior Analyst – Decision Sciences. This role will support credit risk model development, including regulatory and economic response models, and will contribute to data-driven decision-making initiatives across global regions and business lines.


Principal Responsibilities

  • Support development, validation, and maintenance of Regulatory Credit Risk Models (PD, LGD, RWA) for wholesale portfolios.

  • Contribute to the design and maintenance of Economic Response Models (IFRS9, Stress Testing, Economic Capital) including ECL calculations.

  • Collaborate with Business Heads, Risk, Finance, MRM, and Data Teams to ensure delivery of effective risk analytics solutions.

  • Work on credit risk model design and methodology, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

  • Demonstrate technical expertise in statistical model development (regression analysis, machine learning techniques, etc.).

  • Provide guidance and mentorship within the team; contribute to high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.


Requirements

Experience & Education

  • 3+ years of relevant analytics experience in the banking domain, specifically in IFRS9 or stress testing.

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Management, or other quantitative fields.

Technical Skills

  • Experience in AIRB/IFRS9 model development – PD, LGD, EAD.

  • Strong programming and data handling skills using tools like Python, R, SAS, SQL, Matlab.

  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk model governance requirements.

  • Knowledge of data sourcing, transformation, and model documentation standards.

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders across different regions and levels.

  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables and maintain quality under pressure.
