Purpose of the Role

As a Senior Analyst – Business Finance, you will play a vital role in:

• Supporting Finance Business Partner teams

• Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

• Driving financial performance reviews and forecasting

• Enhancing financial systems, analytics, and compliance

You’ll work across departments, striving for continuous improvement and best-practice adoption in line with SITA’s global finance standards.

Key Responsibilities

???? Financial Controlling & Reporting

• Lead month-end close activities and ensure data accuracy (e.g. revenue deferrals, cost alignment, bundle product reclassification)

• Prepare and consolidate financial reports; conduct variance and performance analysis

• Forecast revenue, costs, and headcount to support business reviews

• Participate in monthly P&L/cost owner reviews

???? Cost Controlling

• Apply cost allocation rules per SITA standards

• Validate product profitability, project costing, and allocation accuracy

• Ensure consistency in cost analysis across business units and geographies

???? Financial Data Analysis & Strategic Insights

• Support budgeting, planning, and 3-year business plan preparation

• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and performance management frameworks

• Simulate financial scenarios to guide decision-making

• Collaborate with stakeholders to offer insights and improvement opportunities

⚙️ Financial Operations & System Support

• Maintain financial systems and ensure up-to-date data

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for accurate issue resolution

• Support the setup and operations of reporting frameworks

???? Compliance & Controls

• Ensure adherence to IFRS and internal accounting standards

• Play an active role in financial audits and balance sheet control

• Support alignment between statutory and management reporting

???? Reporting Automation

• Identify areas for automation and reporting efficiency

• Collaborate with IT and data teams to implement digital finance solutions

Qualifications & Experience

???? Education

• University degree in Finance or Accounting (required)

• Professional accounting certification (CA, ACCA, CPA – preferred)

• Knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS)

???? Experience

• Minimum 5 years in a financial analysis or reporting role

• Preferably in a large international company or shared service center

• Experience working in a matrix organizational structure

???? Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools

• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills

• Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) is a plus
