Job Description

We are seeking a strong FS Risk Technology Analyst with a Risk and Regulatory background, specializing in complex enterprise application implementations involving multiple systems like microservices, APIs, UI interfaces, and reporting modules.

As part of EY, you will play a key role in supporting financial services clients and driving initiatives that address regulatory compliance and risk management.


Required Skills:

  • Experience: 4 to 7 years in an IT-Business Analyst role, with a strong foundation in Wholesale Credit Lending and Regulatory Compliance.

  • Domain Knowledge:

    • Understanding of the Wholesale Credit Lending lifecycle, including finance regulatory audit resolution and process re-design.

    • Familiarity with regulatory compliance laws and regulations impacting the wholesale credit business.

  • Risk Management:

    • Knowledge of Credit Risk, including risk metrics (PD, LGD, EAD), and understanding of CCAR schedules.

    • Knowledge of Market Risk, including CCR, VAR, and Liquidity Risk (e.g., Reg Reporting 2052a, Stress Testing).

    • Experience with Interest Rate Risk and Risk Weighted Asset (RWA) calculations.

    • Understanding of Capital Management and Regulatory Retail Portfolio (RRP).

  • Technical Skills:

    • Strong analytical skills with SQL (intermediate to advanced) for handling complex data sets or APIs.

    • Proficient in writing Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and Data Flow Diagrams.

    • Experience in working with Basel Capital Rules and related processes like CCAR and Single Counterparty Credit Limits (SCCL).

  • Methodologies & Tools:

    • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies, including Agile (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe®) and Waterfall.

    • Data Visualization skills with tools like Tableau and Power BI are an added advantage.


Desirable and Preferred Skills:

  • Cross-functional Teamwork:

    • Ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and successfully partner with technology and business stakeholders.

    • Experience with BPM (Business Process Management) project plans and facilitating working group sessions.

  • Experience with Data Projects:

    • Experience in end-to-end data-related projects, including data sourcing, lineage/mapping, validation, and reconciliation.

  • Cloud Technologies:

    • Exposure to Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI), and experience with data modeling and tools like GitHub, Bitbucket, SonarQube.

  • Additional Technologies:

    • Exposure to Python, R, JSON, XML, and software such as Figma, Qlik Sense, Visio, Postman, and ADO boards.

  • Consulting Experience:

    • Experience working in a consulting role, particularly in a highly regulated environment, and identifying/documenting controls and governance processes.


Communication Skills:

  • Verbal Communication: Ability to convey complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Written Communication: Proficiency in writing clear and concise documentation, reports, and presentations.

  • Presentation Skills: Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to various audiences.


Interpersonal Skills:

  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

  • Negotiation Skills: Competence in negotiating requirements and solutions with stakeholders.

  • Adaptability: Willingness to adjust to changing priorities and business environments.
