About the Role & Team

Join SITA’s Aircraft Business Unit — making flight operations, air traffic management, and aircraft maintenance more efficient, connected, and sustainable. We drive innovation across three key pillars:

• Data & Platform: Turning aircraft data into actionable insight

• Applications: Empowering users with intuitive, performance-enhancing tools

Key Responsibilities

As an Automation Test Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring high product quality across a globally distributed team.

???? Test Planning & Execution

• Develop and execute test plans and cases based on guidance from European QA

• Conduct API automation testing using Rest Assured

⚙️ Automation Framework & Scripting

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Java (Core), TestNG

• Optimize existing scripts for scalability, maintainability, and stability

???? CI/CD Integration

• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git)

• Execute automated regression tests and ensure production readiness

???? Analysis & Troubleshooting

• Debug automation failures, lead bug triage, and ensure timely resolution

• Work with cross-regional teams to troubleshoot complex issues

???? Documentation & Collaboration

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, results, and frameworks

• Collaborate with the Test Manager and European QA Team to uphold high-quality standards

Qualifications & Skills

✅ Required

• Minimum 5 years in manual and automation testing

• Strong in Selenium, Java (Core), TestNG, Rest Assured

• Deep understanding of OOPs, collections, exception handling, multithreading

• Experience with XPath, CSS selectors, and dynamic locators

• CI/CD experience (e.g., Jenkins, Git)

• Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience with BDD frameworks

• Knowledge of SQL and database validations

• Mentoring or leadership experience in test automation

• Familiarity with telecom systems in the aeronautical industry
