Job Summary

As an Operations Specialist within the Private Banking Operations team, you will be responsible for managing daily OTC Derivatives operational activities, ensuring precise trade lifecycle management and transaction reporting. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, Risk and Control partners, and Compliance, you will maintain efficient operations and ensure strict adherence to controls and governance frameworks. You will also be tasked with spearheading process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Experience Management: Provide first-class client experiences through efficient transactional management.

• Trade Capture: Ensure accurate and timely trade capture within regulatory timelines.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of local regulations for OTC Derivatives.

• Issue Resolution: Address ad hoc queries and resolve issues promptly.

• Process Improvement: Drive initiatives for process improvement and automation.

• Documentation: Document and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).

• Escalation Management: Make informed decisions on escalations and issues.

• Collaboration: Collaborate with the team to identify efficiency opportunities.

• Relationship Building: Build relationships with Business, Risk, and Compliance partners.

• Transformation Support: Execute the transformation and growth agenda for Private Bank.

• Escalate Issues: Escalate issues where appropriate to senior management.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance or relevant disciplines.

• Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and adaptable.

• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

• Proactive in problem-solving and taking ownership of tasks.

• Effective communication skills with stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience in Operations within the private banking sector.

• Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx CORE certification.

• Expertise in process improvement and automation.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
