Job Summary
Analyses and develops transportation plans to control the movement of commodities throughout a manufacturing or distribution network to ensure the smooth running of operations at optimal transportation cost levels.

What You will Do

• Interprets transportation / technical process flow diagrams.

• Ability to collaborate with global team members to gather data, understand the current process, and create an improved process
• Understanding of the operational shipment booking process & Drive and ensure 100% EDI Bookings (BYTMS / GTN)
• Collaborate with regional transportation team understand booking requirements assist & complete bookings within the given timeline
• Ability to learn, work, and implement processes to identify and close data gaps on the ongoing defined transportation process
• Manage & Maintain Fixed Freight Rate program quarterly to make sure the cost for each model and each APD dealer is submitted timely.
• Analyse the recovery status, collaborate with the product group, tally the recovery by using collaborative decisions.
• Ability to do root cause analysis using lean methodology and collaborate with the region team / technical team to come up with a permanent correct action for the issues faced.
• Basic data analysis for KPIs (should be able to identify patterns, trends, variations in data)
• Ability to understand the core requirement of projects and provide full support until project completion
• Ensure TVS Errors are recorded, Monitored & Resolved in 48Hrs & data Quality errors are rectified with collaboration to LIS Team.
• Collaborate with US team to work on APD Power bi dashboard implementations.
• Manage Project Tools (PVT) by gathering all projects, review with the regional team, approval from sponsor and manage / update the continuous savings in tool and support till end of the project.
• Expertise in ETL processes, data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple sources
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, including Word, Excel, and powerpoint
• Knowledge of Excel Macros development
• Proficiency in SQL for database management and querying
• Advanced proficiency in Power Bi for data visualization and dashboard creation

Degree Requirement
B.E. (any specialization) / any Undergraduate / Post Graduate degree with specializations in Supply Chain & Logistics & Data Analytics

Transportation - PHA: Knowledge of and experience with the means of transporting materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and customers the manufacturing facility.
Level Working Knowledge:

• Works with at least one type of transportation mode and carrier.
• Ensures on time shipments; anticipates and resolves shipping problems.
• Describes common costs and associated billing and freight payment procedures.
• Describes pros and cons of different types of domestic transportation alternatives.
• Recounts process for issuing bids and analyzing responses from carriers.

Logistics Management: Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials; ability to understand, predict and control the movement of goods, materials and supplies.
Level Basic Understanding:

• Documents internal and external informative sources or proprietary materials about logistics management.
• Describes basic logistical processes and sub-processes.
• Explains how improvements in logistics contribute to competitive advantage in the marketplace.
• Identifies issues and considerations for inbound and outbound logistics.

Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and implement strategies, practices and tools for controlling the whole processes.
Level Basic Understanding:

• Identifies goals and objectives of effective supply chain management.
• Describes major areas associated with supply chain management.
• Cites multiple examples of waste, high costs and inefficiencies associated with supply chains.
• Locates and interprets walk-throughs of the consumption stream and associated provision stream.
