Job Description

As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure APIs and backend services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, deployment, and operation of backend components in a cloud-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop APIs using Flask, FastAPI, or Django frameworks.

• Implement secure authentication methods (JWT/OAuth) and enforce backend security best practices.

• Optimize backend systems for high performance and scalability.

• Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker.

• Manage code with Git and automate testing and deployment through CI/CD pipelines.

• (Optional) Deploy and monitor applications on cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Technical Skills Required

• API Development: 4/5 proficiency (Flask/FastAPI/Django)

• CI/CD Pipelines: 4/5 proficiency (Automated Testing & Deployment)

• AWS (or similar cloud platform): 3/5 proficiency (deployment and monitoring)

Additional Requirements

• Solid understanding of backend security best practices.

• Hands-on experience with Git for version control.

• Familiarity with Docker containerization.

• Optional but preferred: experience in cloud deployment and monitoring (AWS/GCP/Azure).
