AWS DevSecOps Engineer – CL4
As an AWS DevSecOps Engineer, you will engage in high-visibility projects, delivering solutions that provide value to customers and users. You will use your advanced proficiency in DevSecOps tools, programming languages, and frameworks to deliver CI/CD and automation solutions. This role emphasizes hands-on engineering, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration to drive impactful business results.
Outcome-Driven Accountability:
Drive DevSecOps engineering solutions that solve automation problems and meet platform/technology KPIs.
Ensure high-quality, secure pipelines with minimal operational costs.
Technical Leadership and Advocacy:
Advocate for modern DevSecOps practices, ensuring alignment with business goals, security practices, and customer needs.
Maintain code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, integrations, and environments through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Engineering Craftsmanship:
Lead implementation of deployment techniques (e.g., Blue-Green, Canary) to minimize downtime.
Engage actively with engineers to implement DevSecOps practices throughout the product lifecycle.
Customer-Centric Engineering:
Develop lean and scalable DevSecOps automations.
Collaborate with customers and product teams to deliver the right automation, security, and deployment practices.
Incremental and Iterative Delivery:
Adopt an action-oriented mindset to deliver lean, maintainable solutions.
Navigate complexity with evidence-based decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with product management, engineering, infrastructure, and security teams to make informed decisions and deliver impactful solutions.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred but not required).
Experience:
5+ years with programming languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, JavaScript, C#, Golang preferred).
5+ years with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise) and Git (version control, branching, merging).
5+ years with security tools automation (SAST/DAST, SonarQube, Fortify, etc.).
5+ years of experience with IaC technologies (Terraform, Puppet, AWS CloudFormation, etc.).
2+ years of experience with cloud-native services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Technical Skills:
Understanding of OOP/OOD, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
Strong knowledge of security practices, cloud providers, database technologies, and networking.
Familiarity with AI/ML and GenAI is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills to handle diverse projects and priorities.
