Job Summary

Turing is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Accounting to lead financial operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive process optimization. This role is critical for supporting the company’s growth and will involve direct collaboration with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes for the U.S. entity

• Prepare/review journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and analysis

• Oversee General Ledger team and ensure GAAP-compliant entries

• Maintain strong internal controls and operational efficiency; ensure SOX adherence

• Support creation of new entities and establish global compliance processes

• Manage external audits and relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators

• Optimize accounting systems and financial workflows

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (HR, FP&A, Legal, etc.)

• Lead and mentor the accounting team; foster professional growth and high performance

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Preferred: CPA, CMA, or MBA

• Proven experience in a senior accounting leadership role

• Expertise in GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory compliance

• Strong ERP and accounting software experience

• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving work environment

Preferred Experience

• Corporate accounting, financial planning, or audit background

• Experience in both public accounting and private industry

• Familiarity with SEC reporting and SOX compliance
