Job Summary
Disney is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Fashion Assistant to join our team and support the daily operations of our fashion department. In this role, you will assist with tasks ranging from styling and coordinating outfits to supporting fashion shoots and managing inventory. The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in fashion, an eye for trends, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As a Fashion Assistant, you will work closely with the fashion team to ensure that all activities run smoothly, contributing to the success of Disney’s fashion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in curating fashion collections for photo shoots, events, and store displays.
• Collaborate with the styling team to create fashion looks that align with Disney's brand.
• Help in organizing and maintaining the fashion inventory, ensuring items are neatly arranged and ready for use.
• Support during photo shoots, including organizing clothes, props, and accessories.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and materials.
• Research fashion trends and provide insights into the latest styles and consumer preferences.
• Assist in social media content creation by sourcing outfits and styling for photoshoots.
• Handle administrative duties related to fashion production, including scheduling, organizing fittings, and tracking fashion assets.
• Provide support during fashion events and promotions, assisting in setting up and managing the event flow.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• A passion for fashion and a strong understanding of current trends.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• A creative eye with attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• Previous experience in fashion or a related field is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the fashion industry, retail, or styling.
• Prior experience working as a Fashion Assistant, Stylist, or in a similar support role is preferred.
• Exposure to organizing fashion events or shoots is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time position.
• Regular business hours with flexibility for event-related work or photo shoots, which may occasionally require evening or weekend availability.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of fashion styling and visual merchandising.
• Knowledge of fabrics, colors, and garment construction.
• Ability to anticipate and meet the needs of stylists, photographers, and other fashion team members.
• Familiarity with industry-standard fashion software and tools is a plus.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
