Job Summary:

As a Front-End Engineering Officer, you will support the valves quotation process by reviewing customer specifications and providing technical and commercial quotations. You’ll play a key role in coordinating across internal teams, ensuring accuracy, speed, and compliance in delivering proposals that align with customer needs and company standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze RFQs (Request for Quotations), customer specs, and suggest appropriate product configurations and solutions.

  • Prepare cost estimates, pricing, and technical proposals.

  • Participate in pre-bid and post-order technical meetings with customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Coordinate RFQs with actuator manufacturers and vendors for accurate costing.

  • Manage entire quotation lifecycle, ensuring compliance with pricing policies and strategic targets.

  • Create commercial Bill of Materials and documentation aligned with customer requirements.

  • Release orders to manufacturing including inspection plans, testing procedures, and technical parameters.

  • Support the Internal Project Management and Procurement teams during post-order phases.

  • Ensure timely and clear communication with customers and internal sales teams.

  • Provide technical clarifications and handle change order processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Mechanical Engineering preferred).

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Oil & Gas valves or related industry (e.g., piping equipment).

  • Understanding of valve applications, fluid mechanics, and electro-mechanical systems.

  • Familiarity with industry standards like ASME, ANSI, API, etc.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

  • English fluency is required; additional language preferred.

  • Willingness to travel to Belgium for 2-3 months for training.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the flow control industry

  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical specifications and standards

  • Knowledge of Pressure Equipment Directives (PED)
