Role: Project Engineer (HVAC)

???? Location: Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra
???? Experience: 10+ years in HVAC Design & Engineering
???? Qualification:

• Postgraduate or Graduate in Engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (preferred).

Purpose & Scope

The Project Engineer (PE) will be responsible for engineering services across multiple projects, providing leadership to a team of engineers and designers. The PE will support Project Managers (PMs) and Engineering Managers (EMs) by ensuring seamless execution of HVAC and Ventilation Systems.

Key Responsibilities

A) Air Conditioning System

✅ Calculations:

• Heat load calculations using Carrier E20, HEVACOMP.
• Static pressure & pump head calculations.
• System selection, BOQ preparation, and cost estimation.

✅ System Design & Applications:

• Selection and development of DX Type, VRF Type, Chillers, including capacity & load calculations.
• Awareness of Indian & International HVAC codes and standards.
• Experience in MCC Rooms, Control Rooms, Laboratories, Petrochemical Plants, Chemical Plants, and Industrial Projects.

✅ Drawings & Documentation:

• Development of HVAC flow diagrams, schematic layouts, plant room layouts, piping layouts, and BOQ.
• Coordination for clash detection with structural elements and other services.

✅ Procurement & Vendor Management:

• Prepare enquiry documents, technical specifications, and price schedules.
• Review and analyze vendor offers, prepare technical tabulations and recommendations.
• Conduct Kick-Off Meetings (KOM) with vendors and review documentation.
• Coordinate with Civil & Structural teams for foundation drawings and equipment cut-outs.

B) Ventilation System

✅ Air Quantity Calculations:

• Using Dry Ventilation Systems and Air Washer Systems.

✅ Fan/Airwasher Selection:

• Types, sizes, load list, civil load data, and cost estimates.

✅ Team Leadership:

• Guide and review work of a team of 6 engineers across multiple projects.

C) Project Management & Execution

✅ Project Scheduling & Documentation:

• Understanding of MS Project, critical path analysis, and document planning.

✅ Design Review & Cost Control:

• Participate in design/project review meetings.
• Ensure adherence to cost and time constraints.

✅ Interdisciplinary Coordination:

• Develop duct layouts, BOQ, cost estimation, and integrated services layouts.
• Review civil/structural drawings before release for construction.
• Coordinate with vendors for BOQ modifications and approval of project scope.
