Job Description:

We are seeking a Manual Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves working in an Agile environment to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications through comprehensive testing practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agile Participation:

  • Engage in Agile development processes, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.

• Test Case Management:

  • Create, update, and execute test cases and scenarios based on project requirements.
  • Document and track bugs using JIRA.

• Functional & Regression Testing:

  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing to validate application behavior.

• Defect Management:

  • Identify, record, and communicate defects effectively, ensuring proper tracking and follow-up until closure.

• Collaboration:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, improve testing processes, and enhance product quality.

• Test Reporting:

  • Provide test execution reports and contribute to continuous process improvement.

• Problem Solving:

  • Handle testing scenarios with unclear requirements, conflicting stakeholder expectations, and last-minute changes by applying strong problem-solving skills and effective communication.

Technical Expertise:

• Experience in software development, maintenance, and optimization of applications.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including research, design, development, and maintenance.
• Ability to analyze and resolve software problems using analytical methods.
• Capability to supervise technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
• Collaborate and act as a team player within cross-functional teams.
