Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our Java Development team. This role will lead the architecture and development of scalable backend systems that support high-volume, real-time gaming applications. You will also play a crucial role in mentoring the team, optimizing performance, and driving technical excellence across projects.

Key Responsibilities

????️ Backend Architecture & Development

• Design and implement scalable, high-performance backend architectures.

• Build and maintain secure microservices, following best practices in data protection and encryption.

• Optimize systems using parallel computing techniques ensuring thread safety and deadlock prevention.

???? Deployment & Infrastructure

• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized service deployment and orchestration.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined code releases and automated testing.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring high availability and stability.

???? Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote best development practices.

• Provide technical leadership in tool and framework evaluation and system design decisions.

???? Strategy & Innovation

• Stay updated with the latest technologies, particularly in networking, cloud, and backend systems.

• Define and track technical KPIs and metrics to ensure project efficiency and success.

• Advocate for data-driven execution and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in backend development and system architecture.

• Expertise in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, WebSockets, etc.

• Strong understanding of network security, API security, and data encryption.

• Experience with parallel/concurrent programming and thread management.

• Hands-on with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, etc.).

• Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language (Java preferred).

• Exposure to CI/CD tools and automated testing frameworks.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in leading engineering teams or mentoring developers.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

• Knowledge of performance optimization and system integration strategies.

• Proven adaptability to learn new tech stacks, frameworks, or languages quickly.
