Full Job Description

We are looking for a Technology Evangelist responsible for driving product development that aligns with Aristocrat’s strategic product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead full-stack development using JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, and Node.js.
• Serve as a technical expert on industry trends, emerging tools, and best practices.
• Guide initiatives to evaluate new technologies and assess their feasibility for adoption.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and align expectations.
• Communicate effectively with business leaders, project managers, and technical teams to gather requirements and ensure strategic alignment.
• Identify risks proactively and develop contingency plans.
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements.
• Work with teams to design, develop, and maintain casino games, features, and functionalities within Aristocrat’s Interactive Products Portfolio.
• Take ownership of assigned modules and features, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Present technical proposals and solutions to stakeholders.
• Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of assigned projects to minimize deviations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: 9-12 years in enterprise software development, with at least 7+ years in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Expertise in:
  • JavaScript & TypeScript with a deep understanding of the ecosystem.
  • Front-end frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.js.
  • HTML5, jQuery, and UI/UX principles.
  • Object-oriented programming (OOP) and software design principles.
  • Cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred).
  • Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, Kanban, etc.).
• Leadership & Communication:
  • Ability to lead development teams and ensure industry-standard best practices.
  • Strong technical writing skills for creating comprehensive documentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging capabilities.
• Bonus Skills:
  • Experience in mobile/web gaming development.
  • Hands-on knowledge of PixiJS, Cocos2d-x, Phaser, or CreateJS for HTML5 game development.
  • Strong understanding of web optimization techniques.
  • Proficiency in UML (Unified Modeling Language) for designing system architectures.
