Key Responsibilities

• Work with development and operations teams to automate routine manual processes, building and deploying applications/scripts.

• Develop Python scripts for automating routine tasks using cron jobs, scheduler services, or workflow management tools.

• Collaborate closely with the operations team to understand, support, and resolve technical challenges in routine operations.

• Identify areas for improvement in existing programs and develop modifications accordingly.

• Possess strong analytical and debugging skills to troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Utilize REST API frameworks to integrate with third-party applications.

• Gain proficiency with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Kubernetes.

• Work with various DBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL) for database management.

• Operate effectively in Linux OS environments.

• Automate both on-premise and cloud infrastructures, demonstrating a keen interest and proven track record in this area.

• Expert knowledge of Git, Jenkins, and JIRA is a plus.

Mandatory Skills

• Security Concepts: Work with security analysts to implement automation requirements based on security principles.

• Scripting Languages: Proficiency in Python (mandatory), with additional knowledge of JavaScript/Shell scripting.

• Web Application Framework: Experience with Flask for web applications.

• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions.

• Containerization: Hands-on experience managing containerized infrastructure (Docker, Podman, Kubernetes).

• Cloud Infrastructure: Proficient in AWS and Azure, with the ability to provision and manage infrastructure.

• Version Control: Knowledge of Git and related tools.
