Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer who will design, implement, maintain, and support network infrastructure services at airports. The role involves adhering to business and functional requirements and using SITA standards, policies, and processes across multiple projects.

What You’ll Do

• Design & Deployment:
  Design and deploy SITA WAN/LAN infrastructure at airports according to agreed standards. Ensure all business and technical requirements are met.

• Integration:
  Ensure proper integration of requirements with interacting systems and services within and outside SITA, collaborating with the wider airline community.

• Project Lifecycle:
  Participate in the full lifecycle of multiple small to medium-sized projects, ensuring developed solutions meet functional and business requirements.

• Risk and Issue Management:
  Raise and action all risks and issues that affect the project following set processes. Escalate significant risks impacting deliverables.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• 7+ years experience in network infrastructure implementation or support, with experience in full lifecycle implementations.

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Telecommunication, or similar.

• Expertise in LAN, WAN, routing, switching, and firewalling. At least CCNA, CCNP/CCIP, or similar certifications.

• In-depth knowledge of Cisco MPLS L3 VPN.

• Expertise in network design, operational support, hands-on implementation, and configuration in a large-scale environment.

• Expert skills in MS Visio.

• Experience with SD-WAN (Cisco or Versa).

• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and business partners.

• Strong knowledge of standard engineering principles (requirements analysis, design, testing, documentation).

• Organizational skills and ability to work well in a team.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of Azure and Palo Alto.
