About the Role

Our SDET team plays a critical role in ensuring the quality of the o9 Digital Brain platform by participating throughout the product life cycle in an agile environment. As a Sr. QA Engineer (SDET – Testing), you will work in a fast-paced, multi-team, and multi-project environment, contributing to automation, performance optimization, and overall system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

???? Test Automation & System Optimization:

• Provide hands-on technical assistance to enable automation and improve system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability.

• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement enhancements to optimize system efficiency.

• Guide the test team in overall test design, execution, and strategic planning.

???? Requirement Analysis & Collaboration:

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements.

• Prepare test plans, effort estimations, and develop comprehensive test scripts for complex applications.

• Document testing processes and results while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

???? Performance Engineering:

• Design and execute performance tests to measure system scalability and reliability.

• Develop innovative strategies to continuously improve the automation and performance engineering processes.

???? Technology & Tools:

• Work with microservices architecture and distributed systems to identify and resolve scalability challenges.

• Utilize continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins) to schedule and manage automated test executions.

• Employ version control best practices using Git to maintain and track project changes.

• Perform backend data validations on NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

Required Skills & Experience

???? Education & Experience:

• 5-10 years of experience as a SDET or Performance Test Engineer.

• Proven expertise in SQL and the ability to code in either Java or Python.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and microservices.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure capacity planning.

????️ Technical Skills (Must-Have):

• SQL (Strong hands-on expertise)

• Jenkins (or equivalent CI/CD tools)

• Git (Version control)

• Coding proficiency in Java or Python

???? Preferred Skills:

• PowerShell (for automation scripting)

• Azure DevOps (or similar platforms)

• JMeter (Performance testing)

• ELK Stack (Logging and monitoring)
