What You Will Do

• Take a systems-level approach to analyze use cases and design integrated, maintainable solutions using standard engineering methodologies.

• Lead and contribute to daily engineering tasks, solving complex problems within your domain.

• Research, recommend, and implement frameworks, design patterns, and best practices.

• Test and maintain software applications using a wide range of tools and approaches.

• Participate in and lead design/code reviews.

• Work with Product teams to refine and deliver on business requirements.

• Collaborate with peers across geographies and organizational units.

• Share domain and industry knowledge to continuously improve engineering practices.

• Integrate and connect diverse systems, databases, and platforms to deliver complete business solutions.

• Champion operational excellence through resilience, scalability, automated testing, monitoring, and alerting.

• Report on project progress and risks to leadership teams.

• Identify and act on opportunities to enhance customer experience.

• Guide and mentor other engineers, promoting maintainable, testable, and observable codebases.

Who You Are

• Experience: 10+ years of software development experience.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or related field), or equivalent professional experience.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong backend development experience using Java, Kotlin, and Spring Framework.

  • Proficient with frontend technologies like JavaScript, Node.js, or React.

  • Solid understanding of REST and SOAP web service protocols.

  • Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and various databases/data stores.

• Leadership:

  • At least 2 years of experience mentoring junior engineers.

  • Proven ability to lead complex projects and drive integration across teams.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

  • Able to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
