About the Team

The Engineering team at Endowus is a cross-functional group of engineers, designers, data analysts, and product thinkers united by the same mission. Together, we create consumer-facing applications that provide seamless experiences on web and mobile platforms.

Role Overview

As a Senior Mobile Engineer at Endowus, you will:

• Work on consumer-facing mobile applications, driving iterative development and fast feedback loops

• Design and build advanced mobile applications using Dart and Flutter for iOS and Android

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Marketing, and other stakeholders to deliver customer value

• Write clean, testable, and efficient code that is ready for production

• Continuously explore, evaluate, and integrate new technologies to improve development efficiency

• Mentor junior engineers, helping them grow in productivity, quality, and reliability

• Have a strong product sense and be empathetic to user experiences

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Develop mobile applications using Flutter, ensuring an exceptional user experience for both iOS and Android platforms

• Collaboration: Work in an agile environment alongside Product, Design, and Marketing teams to quickly iterate and improve mobile apps

• Code Quality: Write clean, testable, and efficient code, ensuring high code quality and robustness

• Mentorship: Guide and mentor other engineers, promoting high standards of development and operational practices

• Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest technologies and integrate new tools and frameworks to optimize mobile development

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience

• 5+ years of experience in building mobile applications, with 2+ years of experience using Dart/Flutter

• Fluency in at least one additional programming language such as Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, TypeScript, Scala, or Java

• Published or contributed to at least one or two apps in app stores

• Strong experience with agile development processes, CI/CD, testing, and monitoring production metrics

• Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and improve development practices

• Ability to solve architectural problems and collaborate with others to implement scalable solutions

• A keen eye for design and a passion for delivering joyous user experiences

• Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership and a bias for action

• Team player mindset, with a focus on building a collaborative and inclusive environment

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with full-stack development, including server-side programming, RESTful API, or GraphQL development

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, AWS/GCP, CDNs, etc.

• Exposure to CQRS / Event Sourcing architectural patterns

• Experience working in financial services or the B2C domain
