About the Team

As part of the Engineering team at Endowus, the QA/Test Engineers play a critical role in ensuring product quality across our platforms. Our Test Automation Engineers lead quality assurance initiatives across the entire software development life cycle, supporting both frontend and backend systems.

You will be a key player in driving automation, building tools, and collaborating across teams to create a flawless user experience.

Role Overview

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will:

• Collaborate closely with product managers and developers to improve feature usability and testability

• Develop and maintain automated end-to-end tests across web, mobile, and backend microservices

• Write, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing frameworks

• Contribute to functional and regression testing, as well as bug tracking and issue resolution

• Identify areas for continuous improvement in the testing process and frameworks

• Work in an agile development environment and contribute to a culture of quality and collaboration

Key Responsibilities

• Write and maintain automation frameworks and scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress.io, Appium, etc.

• Create robust tests for both UI and API layers of web, mobile, and microservice components

• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities across releases

• Participate in agile processes including sprint planning and retrospectives

• Investigate and document issues clearly and efficiently for engineering teams

• Analyze logs, backend services, and database data to verify test results

• Ensure high product quality with usability, performance, and reliability testing

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing in a B2C or financial services environment

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience

• Deep experience with web and mobile testing, both UI and API-level

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect management

• Hands-on experience developing automation frameworks and tests using:

  • Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar

• Working knowledge of SQL and experience with relational/non-relational databases

• Familiarity with infrastructure concepts (e.g., message queues, containers)

• Strong product mindset and empathy for the end-user

• Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and highly accountable

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of finance, wealth, or trading domains

• Experience in Load, Stress, or Security testing

• Exposure to AWS/GCP, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
