As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving our continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring to ensure high availability and performance of our systems. You will work closely with software engineers and system administrators to streamline development and operational processes, fostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Create infrastructure using Terraform to automate and streamline system deployments.
CI/CD Pipeline Development:
Build and maintain Azure CI/CD pipelines using Azure Repos, Docker images, and similar tools.
Container Orchestration:
Deploy services inside AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) and/or On-Prem environments using Helm charts and ARGO-CD.
Infrastructure Management:
Maintain and monitor Azure infrastructure, ensuring optimal security, cost efficiency, and performance across projects.
Troubleshooting:
Resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring the stability and smooth functioning of systems.
Cloud Best Practices:
Apply cloud best practices to improve performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Required Skills
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of software engineering experience.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
CI/CD & DevOps Tools:
Skilled in CI/CD using Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, and Terraform.
Cloud Expertise:
Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services (e.g., AKS, Azure Functions, Azure VMs, Azure Storage).
Application Deployments:
Experience in managing production-grade deployments for 3-tier applications.
Azure Infrastructure:
Knowledge of Azure Landing Zone infrastructure (hub-and-spoke model).
Containerization & Orchestration:
Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Git-based repositories.
Networking Knowledge:
Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., VNet, Subnet, NSG, Firewalls, DNS).
Scripting Skills:
Proficiency in Linux and bash/shell scripting.
Nice-to-Have
Microsoft Azure Certification is a plus.
