About the Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Frontend Focus) in our strategic Bengaluru Technology Delivery Center, you’ll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional and performant user experiences seen by millions of customers daily. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers globally to build scalable web applications that shape the future of online home shopping.

You will have the opportunity to influence architecture and frontend development practices, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the evolution of our global platform.

What You’ll Do

• Build rich, fast, and responsive frontend experiences using modern frameworks like React and Next.js.

• Translate wireframes and designs into pixel-perfect UI using our internal React Pattern Library.

• Collaborate with backend, app, and GraphQL teams to implement best-in-class web standards, accessibility, and performance.

• Write scalable, reusable, testable, and high-performance code.

• Contribute to and influence frontend platform direction through technical guidance and innovation.

• Work cross-functionally with global teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.

• Be a key player in delivering the most delightful and efficient online shopping journey for our customers.

What You’ll Bring

• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a strong emphasis on frontend development.

• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineers, drive best practices, and perform effective code reviews.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Ember, Angular, Vue, etc.).

• Strong understanding of state management libraries like Redux, MobX, or Apollo.

• Solid backend experience with languages such as Java, Python, PHP, Go, C#, Scala, or similar.

• Familiarity with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

• Experience with debugging and testing tools for frontend code.

• Passion for UI/UX, design systems, and collaborating with designers to build intuitive interfaces.

• Experience working with Product Managers and Designers to define and scope features.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a passion for clean, maintainable code.

• Advocate for team growth through retrospectives, reviews, and shared learning.
