Job Overview:

JPMorgan Chase is offering an exciting and rewarding opportunity for experienced software engineers to advance their careers. As a Software Engineer III within the Wholesale Credit Risk team, you will be part of an agile, high-impact team that delivers secure, scalable, and stable technology products aligned with the firm's key business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute end-to-end software solutions including design, development, and troubleshooting.

• Develop and maintain secure, high-quality production code and synchronous system algorithms.

• Create architecture and design documentation for complex applications.

• Collect, analyze, and visualize data from large datasets to enhance applications and systems.

• Identify hidden issues and patterns in code and systems, proposing architectural improvements.

• Contribute to internal engineering communities, exploring emerging tools and technologies.

• Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and mutual respect.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and maintenance.

• Strong proficiency in Java and front-end technologies: React, TypeScript, HTML5, Jest.

• Experience in large-scale enterprise environments with modern programming and querying languages.

• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and security/resiliency principles.

• Proven ability to build containerized applications using:

  • Java 17/21, Spring Framework

  • ORM, Caching

  • Kubernetes (K8s)

• Practical experience with:

  • SQL and NoSQL databases

  • Apache Spark, Kafka (within K8s environment)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
