Role Overview:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team of product developers. In this role, you will develop new software products within the MarTech landscape, with a focus on the HubSpot Ecosystem. Additionally, you will assist in enhancing and maintaining existing products such as HubSpot WhatsApp Integration, LitePics, and GetBaaS.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new software products for the HubSpot Ecosystem.

• Enhance and maintain existing products like HubSpot WhatsApp Integration, LitePics, and GetBaaS.

• Explore and work with cutting-edge web technologies.

• Collaborate with the Technology Architect, Marketing Team, and UI/Design Team.

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.

• Proficiency in PHP, CodeIgniter, Laravel, and JavaScript.

• Experience working on Linux (especially Ubuntu).

• Strong experience building secure RESTful APIs and managing data in relational databases.

• Experience working with complex JavaScript codebases, supported by a robust test suite.

• An eye for building secure applications.

• Basic understanding of front-end technologies to integrate front-end elements into applications.

Non-Technical Skills Required:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to weigh trade-offs between speed and perfection, and make decisions on using open-source or third-party software components to expedite market launch.

• Ability to build innovative MVPs to solve business problems, collaborating closely with founders and marketing teams.

• Involvement in all stages of development, from system architecture, low-level design, and database design to setting up deployment infrastructure and processes.

• Strong product thinking for building robust, reusable components.

• Passionate about teamwork and striving towards a common goal.
