Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to lead macOS support and management within Enterprise environments using Microsoft Intune and JAMF. This role includes compliance management, patching, automation, zero-touch deployment, and delivering enterprise-grade Mac engineering solutions. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and Tier 2 teams to maintain a secure and optimized Mac environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with published and in-house created STIGs for macOS

• Manage scripts, application packaging, and data services for Mac environments

• Oversee patching, health checks, and policy management

• Lead Mac as a Service (MaaS) delivery and administration

• Create and deploy “Thin Images” for macOS using Intune

• Implement zero-touch deployment and pre-stage enrollment

• Perform incident tracking, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis

• Develop and distribute custom Mac configuration profiles and policies

• Package apps using BASH, Composer, Xcode, and Terminal tools

• Collaborate in end-to-end project delivery, from documentation (SOW) to product deployment

• Conduct research, run custom queries, and generate reports

• Recommend modern endpoint management strategies and automation improvements

• Ensure security hardening and compliance for macOS endpoints

• Support system replication using SMB shares and policy replication techniques

• Provide support during escalated issues and cross-functional interactions

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Total Experience: 10–12 years

• Relevant Experience: 7+ years in Mac systems engineering

• Strong command of macOS administration and scripting (Shell/Bash)

• Proven expertise in managing Apple devices using Microsoft Intune

• Experience with macOS VM, VNC, and Apple’s ecosystem (macOS, iOS)

• In-depth understanding of configuration and policy management

• Experience in patch management for macOS and third-party applications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and exercise judgment

• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Expertise

• Enterprise-level experience with automation and endpoint modernization

• Familiarity with JAMF and integration with Intune

• Experience in creating detailed documentation, including Statements of Work (SOW)

• Exposure to enterprise-level server and network support

• Strong stakeholder management skills
