Job Title: Primary Teacher (Grade 1–7)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver the Akanksha curriculum using effective teaching practices

• Plan and execute engaging and inclusive lesson plans

• Design and conduct assessments to evaluate student progress

• Customize teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles

• Foster a positive and safe learning environment

• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and the school team

• Maintain high expectations and set academic goals for students

• Contribute to a positive and visually appealing classroom atmosphere

• Participate in network-wide training, meetings, and professional development

• Engage in extra-curricular and celebratory school activities

• Make community visits to maintain parent-school connection

• Demonstrate efficient work habits and meet professional responsibilities

Qualifications:

Education:

• Graduate (any stream)

• Diploma in Elementary Education

• B.Ed. is also acceptable for Grades 6 and 7

Experience:

• Relevant teaching experience preferred, but freshers may also apply

Skills and Traits:

• Strong subject knowledge

• Passion for teaching and working with children

• Patience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Receptiveness to feedback and self-improvement

• Strong planning, organizing, and time management skills
