Position Overview

We are seeking a visionary Design Director to lead and inspire our corporate interiors team. The ideal candidate comes from a graphic design background and brings a unique ability to merge brand identity with spatial design. This role requires a leader who can translate complex business needs into compelling interior environments that communicate brand narratives, enhance user experience, and set new standards for workplace design.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the creative direction, conceptual development, and execution of innovative corporate interior projects.
• Integrate graphic storytelling, environmental branding, and visual identity seamlessly into interior spaces.
• Oversee the design process from concept to completion, ensuring a cohesive and strategic design vision.
• Collaborate with senior leadership, project managers, architects, and marketing teams to align design strategies with client goals and brand positioning.
• Mentor and manage a multidisciplinary team of interior designers, graphic designers, and visualizers.
• Drive client presentations, providing articulate, visually compelling design narratives.
• Keep abreast of trends in interior design, branding, technology, and workplace strategy to maintain a cutting-edge approach.
• Ensure that all designs meet budgetary, functional, and aesthetic goals while adhering to project timelines.
• Establish and uphold design quality standards across all phases of the project.
• Actively participate in business development efforts, assisting with pitches, proposals, and design strategies for new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Graphic Design, Environmental Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience, with significant experience leading corporate interior design projects.
• Strong portfolio showcasing corporate interiors with integrated brand and graphic elements.
• Deep understanding of environmental graphics, signage and wayfinding, experiential design, and branded environments.
• Skilled in client engagement, design strategy, conceptualization, and storytelling.
• Proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
• Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of project budgeting and scheduling.
• Passion for innovation, design excellence, and collaborative work environments.
