Full job description

Design Creation:

• Develop innovative carpet designs, patterns, and layouts based on market trends and customer requirements.
• Work on custom designs for clients and ensure alignment with their specifications.
• Experiment with colors, textures, and materials to create visually appealing designs.

Trend Research and Concept Development:

• Research and analyze current design trends in the carpet and interior design industry.
• Create mood boards, sketches, and design concepts to present to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on new techniques, technologies, and materials in carpet design.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and preferences.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source materials for samples and production.

Technical Detailing:

• Prepare detailed design specifications, including size, color combinations, and weaving techniques.
• Create CAD drawings and technical files for production purposes.
• Oversee prototypes and samples to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all designs meet company standards for quality and market appeal.
• Review production samples and provide feedback for adjustments if needed.

Project Management:

• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Maintain organized records of designs, concepts, and revisions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing for the carpet or textile industry.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of carpet production techniques, materials, and textures.
• Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and color sense.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects efficiently.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with hand-tufted, woven, or machine-made carpet design.
• Knowledge of sustainability and eco-friendly materials in carpet production.
• Familiarity with international carpet design trends and standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Morning shift

Supplemental Pay:

• Yearly bonus
