Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare initial design concepts within deadlines

• Develop system designs & proposals for the sales team

• Simulate conceptual solar system layouts using tools like Aurora or similar

• Create shade reports based on environmental and site assessments

• Ensure compliance with county and utility regulations

• Select equipment & layout components

• Conduct QA, software-based solar design optimization, and cost estimation

• Support proposal development in coordination with sales

Required Skills:

• Understanding of photovoltaic system design

• Familiarity with solar drafting principles (preferably US standards)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Effective English communication (verbal & written)

• Attention to detail and multitasking capability

• Interpretation of engineering drawings and technical documents

Qualifications:

• Education: B.E. / B. Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering

• Experience: 0.5 – 1 year in US Solar Design process (preferred)

Competencies:

• Familiarity with solar design codes (CFC, IFC, AHJ)

• Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects

• Strong grasp of photovoltaic system regulations and industry standards
