To ensure excellence in patient care by performing diagnostic radiographic procedures with the highest level of accuracy. This role supports accurate diagnosis and the formulation of effective treatment plans in compliance with defined standards and protocols.
General:
Evaluate patients’ medical history and current condition
Provide emotional support to patients and address concerns about imaging procedures
Operate MRI, X-ray, and other imaging devices efficiently
Stay updated with advancements in radiographic techniques and participate in training sessions
Ensure each patient is treated with courtesy, confidentiality, and care
X-Ray Responsibilities:
Verify requisitions before conducting any x-ray
Ensure accuracy and safety in imaging the correct body parts
Log patient details before procedures
Maintain equipment, load cassettes, and store films correctly
Track film inventory and manage radiation safety for all
Assist radiologists in deep x-ray treatments and technician training
Operate portable devices for immobile patients
MRI Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures following hospital standards
Screen patients, explain procedures, and ensure their safety and comfort
Administer contrast agents with radiologist approval
Other Duties:
Conduct routine diagnostic equipment checks and report malfunctions
Maintain department cleanliness and adhere to safety protocols
Ensure patient confidentiality and follow quality assurance guidelines
Attend emergency duties and perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Essential:
B.Sc. in Radiography / Medical Imaging Technology
2+ years of experience in a hospital setting
Desirable:
Advanced Diploma in Radiography or related fields
Knowledge:
Human anatomy & medical terminology
Radiation safety guidelines
Radiography standards and imaging protocols
Skills:
Equipment calibration and maintenance
Accurate patient positioning
Critical thinking for image interpretation
Strong communication & multitasking skills
Computer proficiency for image/report handling
Attitude:
Ethical, collaborative, and compassionate
Strong focus on patient care and professional integrity
Patient satisfaction score to increase to 90%
Reduce patient waiting time to less than 30 minutes
