Role Overview:

As a Medical Coder, you will be responsible for reading patients' medical charts, analyzing them, and determining the patient's diagnoses and any procedures performed. You will then assign appropriate universal diagnoses and procedure codes according to doctor and insurance guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Educational Qualifications:

  • UG: B.Sc in Environmental Science, Optometry, Food Technology, Agriculture, Geology, Home Science, Bio-Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Botany, Nursing, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Dairy Technology, Zoology, or B.Pharma (Pharmacy)

  • PG: Any Postgraduate in any specialization, M.Pharma (Pharmacy), MS/M.Sc (Science) in Botany, Nursing, Chemistry, Physics, Dairy Technology, Zoology, Environmental Science, Biotechnology, Organic Chemistry, Optometry, Food Technology, Agriculture, Geology, Bio-Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology

  • Other qualifications: B.Tech/B.E. in Biomedical, Bio-Chemistry/Bio-Technology, or any other relevant field

• Experience: Fresher or candidates with relevant academic background

• Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Good understanding of medical terminology

  • Ability to follow doctor and insurance guidelines

  • Good communication and analytical skills
