Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient Air Freight Documentation & AWB Executive to join our freight forwarding team. This role involves preparing accurate air freight documentation, generating Airway Bills (AWBs), and coordinating shipments with airlines and clients to ensure smooth operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and process Airway Bills (AWBs) in line with airline and IATA standards.

2. Coordinate with airlines, co-loaders, and clients for booking confirmations and planning air shipments.

3. Verify shipping instructions and related documents such as invoices, packing lists, and permits.

4. Maintain accurate records and track all air freight shipments.

5. Ensure regulatory compliance with DG (Dangerous Goods) and non-DG shipment guidelines.

6. Provide shipment status updates to customers and promptly resolve documentation issues.

7. Collaborate with internal teams—operations, sales, and logistics—to ensure seamless execution.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Air Freight or CHA (Customs House Agent) environment.

• Strong knowledge of air cargo operations, AWB preparation (manual and e-AWB).

• Familiarity with freight forwarding documentation and Incoterms.

• Basic understanding of customs procedures, DG handling, and airline bookings is preferred.

• Proficient in MS Office and freight forwarding software/tools.
