Job Title: Trainer - Cargo & Logistics Associate

Organization: GMRV Centre for Empowerment & Livelihoods, New Delhi
Location: Delhi
Employment Type: Contractual Position

Job Summary:

GMRV Centre for Empowerment & Livelihoods, New Delhi is seeking a dedicated and skilled Trainer - Cargo & Logistics Associate to train and mentor youth (Aged 18-30) from underprivileged backgrounds. The trainer will be responsible for delivering vocational training programs for the Cargo and Logistics Associate course as per the NSQF and AASSC under the AAS/Q0103 qualification. The successful candidate will have expertise in logistics and training, with a passion for developing the skills of others, equipping students with fundamental knowledge of Cargo & Logistics skills, enhancing their employability in various technical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and Deliver Training Programs: Develop and deliver high-quality training programs for Cargo and Logistics Associate qualification, ensuring alignment with NSQF standards.

2. Conduct Practical Training Sessions: Conduct hands-on training sessions, workshops, and simulations to equip trainees with industry-relevant skills.

3. Assess Trainee Performance: Evaluate trainee performance, provide constructive feedback, and conduct assessments.

4. Develop Training Materials: Create and update training materials, including manuals, guides, and assessments.

5. Industry Engagement: Collaborate with industry partners to ensure training programs remain relevant and effective.

6. Trainee Support: Provide guidance and support to trainees, addressing their concerns and queries.

7. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

1. Qualifications: Diploma/degree in

2. Certifications: AAS/Q0103 certification from the Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council.

3. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the Cargo industry and 1-2 years of training experience in a similar setup

4. Skills: Strong knowledge of logistics operations, transportation, and supply chain management.

5. Training Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and training skills.

6. experience in training and mentoring youth, preferably from disadvantaged backgrounds.

7. Proficiency in using refrigeration tools and digital training resources.

8. Ability to motivate and inspire young learners to build their careers in the technical sector.

9. Strong networking skills to establish partnerships with companies and technical institutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Teaching/Training Experience: Experience in vocational training or teaching.

2. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with logistics industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

3. Understanding of youth employability challenges and strategies for workforce readiness.
