Team Overview:

This role is part of the Global Credit & Model Risk Oversight, Transaction Monitoring & GRC Capabilities (CMRC) team. The team ensures risks such as Credit, Model, and AML are effectively managed through cutting-edge transaction monitoring and data-driven platforms.

The AML Data Capabilities Team specifically governs and develops data systems and quality processes used to monitor and analyze transactions for AML purposes. This includes designing organized data layers, integrating data from multiple systems, and optimizing intelligence and rule development for risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain organized data layers supporting both production and analytics use cases for AML transaction monitoring.

• Manage end-to-end big data integration processes with a focus on timely and accurate delivery.

• Collaborate with Strategy and Modeling teams to build standardized and globalized attribute calculations.

• Partner with Tech to develop and implement next-generation data quality controls.

• Drive process automation to improve efficiency and reduce delivery time.

• Support documentation and regulatory reporting with well-structured qualitative analysis and build documentation.

• Work within an Agile framework to execute data initiatives and deliver key priorities.

• Foster stakeholder relationships across multiple geographies and collaborate cross-functionally.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field

• Up to 2 years of relevant experience

• Strong knowledge of SQL, Hive, and big data technologies

• Exposure to Hadoop and Shell Scripting

• Understanding of data architecture and data engineering

• Effective communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences

• Collaborative mindset for cross-functional team interactions

• Attention to detail with strong analytical and critical thinking skills

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle shifting priorities

Good to Have:

• Experience with Python or PySpark
