About the Role:

An urgent opening for a Sales Manager in the Life Insurance - Agency Channel at Chandigarh. The role involves managing agent performance, channel servicing, and profitability management. You will be responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity for your team, ensuring compliance, and working on business development goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agency Channel / POS Management:

  • Monitor agent performance using key metrics such as renewal/fresh database, funnel, and closures.

  • Ensure a high active percentage of POS agents and maintain the right level of channel engagement.

  • Control POS agents and ensure they meet performance standards.

• Channel Servicing:

  • Reconcile partner accounts and coordinate with various departments for smooth functioning.

• Profitability Management:

  • Work on market dynamics and provide feedback to improve internal processes.

  • Manage loss ratios to ensure profitability.

• Compliance & Hygiene:

  • Ensure compliance with external bodies and authorities.

  • Maintain internal compliance standards.

  • Manage cheque bounce recovery and business pendency.

• Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform additional duties as per Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and growth factors.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • 0 to 6 years of experience in Sales.

  • Experience in Life Insurance or Agency Channel Management is a plus.

• Educational Qualification:

  • Any Graduate or Post Graduate (MBA is preferable).
