Triumph is looking for a Regional Sales Manager – Traditional Wholesale Channel (Multi-Brand Retail) for India and Sri Lanka. This role involves managing and growing the wholesale multi-brand business, driving sales targets, expanding market presence, and ensuring brand positioning in the region.
Sales Management:
Manage and grow the wholesale multi-brand business for India and Sri Lanka.
Achieve top-line sales, expand points of sale by increasing geographical coverage, and add new retailers.
Manage existing distributors and introduce new ones where required.
Oversee distributor inventory, sell-out, and timely payment collections to meet secondary sales targets.
Margin and Profitability:
Deliver gross margin and channel profitability targets.
Sales Force Leadership:
Recruit, select, train, and motivate the sales team (Regional Sales Managers, Assistant Sales Managers, and Sales Executives).
Organize and manage the sales force to implement business strategies.
Distributor & Retailer Relationship:
Maintain strong relationships with distributors and multi-brand outlets.
Visit distributors regularly to ensure healthy relationships and smooth operations.
Brand Visibility:
Negotiate and select prime locations for Triumph’s counters in stores.
Ensure brand visibility through branded fixtures and POS material to reinforce the premium brand positioning.
Market Analysis & Strategy:
Provide insights into market demand by analyzing fit, style, and color trends.
Prepare market intelligence reports to track competitors and stay ahead of market dynamics.
Promotions & Offers:
Plan trade and consumer offers to drive sales growth.
Sales Monitoring & Performance:
Monitor multi-brand store sales and stock holdings to identify weaknesses and implement corrective actions.
Support the sales team in understanding market dynamics and competitive positioning.
Action Plans & Risk Management:
Develop and implement action plans to minimize risks and maximize opportunities.
Regularly visit local markets to evaluate the sales force and analyze competitive activity.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role at the regional level, ideally in the lingerie or apparel industry.
Proven track record of delivering sales results through structured department store operations and discipline.
Skills:
Strong understanding of Sales & Marketing KPIs and ability to analyze market and store productivity.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain relationships with distributors and retailers.
Ability to plan and execute both medium- and long-term sales strategies.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Other Traits:
Familiarity with Multi-Brand Outlets (MBO) and brand sensibility.
Ability to manage a team and drive performance across a regional market.
