Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Hyperion Essbase Consultant to assist in transitioning the client’s fiscal calendar to a calendar year format. The consultant will be responsible for modifying data connections, enhancing data integrations, and updating reports across reporting tools to support the transition.

Environment:

• Hyperion Essbase (on-premise) integrated with Lawson

• Approximately 8 cubes currently in use

• In-progress upgrade of Essbase environment with increased automation focus

• SQL Server databases with stored procedures and SSIS packages

• Use of VB, Excel, and SmartView

Key Responsibilities:

• Update and maintain data integrations and reporting tools

• Modify and optimize Essbase cubes (ASO & BSO)

• Work with SQL Server, SSIS, and stored procedures

• Debug and resolve data discrepancies

• Assist with the automation of processes in the upgraded Essbase environment

• Implement drill-down concepts for deeper reporting functionality
